Thank you Alston,

I find politics in all of my life. It may not always be called that but none the less it plays out that way. For myself my whole life is political because I am for people. All people. Growing up, I had no voice. Now I do and I will use it to help people who are marginalized. In Al-Anon Tradition 5 is what I see as my life purpose at this time in my life.

Like you, I’ve found the outside noise overwhelming at times. I've made the intentional choice to unplug from much of it, focusing instead on what I can control—my outlook and my peace of mind. I've realized that constantly absorbing the negativity around me wasn’t healthy. So now, I remind myself each day: One day at a time.
